HABC and First Aid Works  First Aid Works® is pleased to announce that after very careful consideration and scrutiny, we have been successful in our application to become an Approved Training Centre for Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC).
HABC is the fastest growing Awarding Body in the UK. HABC are recognised by Ofqual, DCELLS and CCEA to award accredited Food Safety and Health and Safety Training Courses. HABC have drawn from a wealth of knowledge and experience from a team of leading subject matter experts in terms of examining, accrediting and certifying qualifications and learning programmes both inside and outside of the UK. HABC have deliberately concentrated on a select offering of compliance qualifications, in which their team has in excess of 100 years experience. Specialising in this way, enables them to divert all of their resources to the areas that matter - Delivering a superior, more focussed service. All HABC accredited qualifications have been developed specifically for insertion onto the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), the new framework for recognising and accrediting qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland with full support from the relevant Sector Skills Councils. They are therefore relevant and fully consistent with industry and regulatory standards as well as being recognised by Environmental Health Practitioners and other Enforcement Officers. HABC is recognised by Ofqual, DCELLS and CCEA to award accredited Levels 2 and 3 Food Safety in Catering and Levels 2 and 3 Health & Safety qualifications. HABC will therefore be the preferred accrediting body for all First Aid Works® Food Safety and Health and Safety Training courses. First Aid Works® will, as an approved HSE training provider, continue to accredit all relevant First Aid Courses through the Health and Safety Executive. First Aid Works® is approved by the Health & Safety Executive, under the relevant First Aid at Work Regulations, to undertake First Aid at Work Training Certificate No: 21/06. First Aid Works® is an approved training centre for the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Certificate (CIEH) No: 58261 and now an approved training centre for Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC). Centre No: 10779. First Aid Works® is ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards Awarded.
