Fire Safety Awareness For Managers
The introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order on 1st October 2006, places further onus on employers to ensure a Fire Safety Risk Assessment is carried out by a competent person. This course is specifically designed to enable building owners to comply with the statutory requirements of the new legislation (RRFSO), the course provides delegates with an understanding of the components of a suitable and sufficient fire safety risk assessment within their workplace.
DURATION:
Approximately 3 - 4 hours.

- Current Fire Safety Legislation
- Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
- Fire Emergency Plans.
- Principles of Fire Risk Assessment.
- The theory of fire and human behaviour
- Fire alarms, detection and emergency lighting.
CERTIFICATION:
Delegates will receive a certificate of achievement upon successful completion of course. Delegates will also receive training materials and a fire risk assessment template.
COURSE DELIVERY OPTIONS:
We can arrange for training at one of our local centres, or alternatively we can conduct training in-house at your place of business.
REQUIREMENTS FOR IN-HOUSE TRAINING:
Where in-house courses are required, we will contact you for access to any fire evacuation policies and procedures, also it would be useful to supply digital photos of your fire assembly points (to include in any presentations) this will ensure that all delegates receive training that is bespoke to your organisation.
