It is now commonly accepted that early defibrillation in a cardiac arrest (heart attack) is vital to the success of a good recovery.

More and more companies are investing in AEDs and they are becoming ever more present in public places with Police Officers and even Taxi Drivers carrying them... and in doing so saving hundreds of lives every year!

First Aid Works® will train you or your staff in the use of AED’s as part of an Advanced First Aid Course, and if needed, we can also supply them. They are a proven vital piece of equipment that will dramatically increase survival rates in a cardiac arrest scenario.

AED’s no longer needs to exist only in hospitals or on the back of an ambulance. Fully portable and automatic they can be used anywhere and guaranteed to save lives.

Course content on the AED Course will include:

• Airway Management
• The Respiratory System
• The Circulatory System
• CPR – Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
• Dangers - Risks and Safety AED Procedures
• Automated External Defibrillator Practical’s
• Assessment

On successful completion of this course you will be issued with a certificate that is valid for 1 Year.
