HSE 3 Day First Aid at Work
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) lays out in clear detail the obligations of all employers under Health and Safety Law. Health and Safety at Work (First Aid) Act 1981
Our 3 Day First Aid at Work Courses and our 2 Day First Aid at Work Refresher fully comply with the legislation currently set out by the HSE. First Aid Works® is as an approved HSE first aid training provider and we are able to deliver these courses and certificate all successful candidates without the need to go through any third parties, assuring you that we have been audited and approved by the HSE directly.
Please note - You must be in possession of a valid First Aid at Work Certificate in order to re-qualify on the 2 Day First Aid at Work Refresher Course.
The content on the 3 Day HSE Approved First Aid at Work Course or The 2 Day HSE Approved Refresher will include:
- Airway Management
- Unconscious Casualty
- The Respiratory System
- The Circulatory System
- Shock – Recognition and Treatment
- Bleeding and Wounds
- CPR – Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Medical Emergency Conditions
- Burns
- Poisons and Gases
- Duties - Accident Book and Legal Requirements
- Formal Assessment
On successful completion of these courses you will be issued a certificate that is valid for 3 Years.
