Paediatric First Aid Courses
These courses are designed for those people who work with children… It is however worth remembering that as far as First Aid is concerned, a child is someone who is 8 years old or under and therefore adult CPR is not included.
(Please have a think about your own and your collegues welfare as an Approved First Aid Course may be needed for you adults!)
All courses meet fully with the criteria stated by Surestart and the Pre School Learning Alliance and are endorsed by OFSTED and Early Years.
 At present the majority of these courses are run as an “In House Course” as we have found that our clients attend these courses in groups and often have the same employer. (Local Authorities etc.) But we now also run these courses over two consecutive Saturday's as an "Open Acess Course" which are ideal for individual bookings and small groups.
Feedback from clients has been excellent as you don't have to take any time off from work! You can choose to attend the 12 Hour full paediatric First Aid Course or the 3 Hour Refresher! - However if you have the numbers but no venue then we can accomodate your course for you at our Training Centre in Birmingham.
The course content on the Paediatric First Aid Course will include:
- Shock – Recognition and Treatment
- CPR – Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Medical Emergency Conditions
- Duties, Delegation and Legal Requirements
- Permission to Administer Drugs Policy
On successful completion of these courses you will be issued with a certficate that is valid for 3 Years.
